about the show
Monkey Trouble Unleashed! is a parody mashup of a family film starring a Capuchin monkey (1994’s Monkey Trouble) and a bloody action thriller (2005’s Unleashed). The story follows this guy named Danny, and Danny has been taken in by this person named Bart, who treats him like a monkey and makes him wear a collar; whenever Bart removes said collar, Danny attacks. So, he kills people and there’s, like, some blood and guts and gore and things. Then one day, Danny falls in love with a tender, sweet, blind piano tuner. Things take off from there, we follow him on a journey, and everything goes nuts. Comedy, Book Musical, 90 Minutes, Pop/Rock, 5 Performers.
